Privacy Policy
Looky (“we”) built the Looky mobile application (“the App”) to help you discover and try on outfits virtually. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We do not run ads, track you, or sell your data.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or X (Twitter), we receive your name and email from that provider.
Profile information. You may optionally provide your display name, gender, height, and an avatar image.
Body photos. To use virtual try-on, you can upload body photos. We treat these as sensitive data and require your explicit consent before upload. Body photos are used only to generate try-on images — never for AI training, never shared with others, and never made public. You can delete them at any time.
Try-on feedback and preferences. Your reactions to outfits (love, like, nope, hate), clothing preferences, and liked items help us improve recommendations.
On-device data. Language, theme, and authentication tokens are stored locally on your device and are not sent to our servers.
What we do not collect. We do not collect location data, advertising identifiers, analytics, or device fingerprints.

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral tracking, or AI model training.
Body Photos
Body photos contain physical characteristics, and we handle them with extra care.
- Stored in encrypted cloud storage
- Accessed only via time-limited signed URLs (expire after 1 hour)
- Used exclusively for generating your try-on images
- Never used to extract biometric identifiers
- Never shared with other users or third parties
- Never used for AI model training
- You can delete them at any time and withdraw your consent
Your AI-Generated Images
Try-on images generated from your photos belong to you. We do not claim ownership, and we do not use them for marketing or training. They are permanently deleted when you delete your account.
Third-Party Services
We share only the minimum data needed with each provider.

We do not share data with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers.
Security
- All data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS
- Stored data is encrypted at rest
- Images are accessible only via signed URLs that expire after 1 hour
- Authentication uses JWT tokens with automatic refresh
- Your data is isolated to your account
Data Retention
Your data is kept only while your account is active. You can delete body photos and AI-generated images individually at any time.
When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. Data may be retained longer only where required by law.
Your Rights
You can access, correct, and delete your personal information through the App. You can withdraw consent for body photo processing by deleting your photos. You can delete your account entirely at any time.
If your local laws grant additional rights (such as under GDPR, CCPA, or Japan’s APPI), we will honor those as well. Contact us at looky.dev@gmail.com to exercise your rights. We respond within 30 days.
International Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States through our service providers (Supabase, Resend). We maintain data processing agreements with these providers to ensure appropriate protection.
Children
The App is not intended for users under 16. If we learn that someone under 16 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email.
